After I Accidentally Kissed the Iceberg CEO

[Cool CEO & Straightforward College Student · Redemption and Revenge]

The bar lights are hazy, and the friends' teasing is deafening.

Gu Shiyue closes her eyes, then opens them. Right in front of her is Luo Zhiyu, sitting alone in the shadows.

Her black hair shines like satin, her red lips are cold as ice, and a sharply tailored suit dress hugs her breathtaking curves.

"Dare: Kiss the first person of the same sex you see."

Gu Shiyue's heart pounds like a drum, but she walks closer, step by step.

Under the other's suddenly icy gaze, she closes her eyes and kisses the corner of her lips.

"I-I'm sorry! I lost a game..."

Luo Zhiyu brushes a fingertip over her lips and gives her a casual glance. "Mm."

They meet again on a miserable rainy day.

A greasy man's hand is almost brushing Gu Shiyue's waist when she steps back and hits the cold glass wall.

Then the clear click of high heels cuts through the commotion.

Luo Zhiyu stands with her arms crossed in a halo of light, her voice sharp as a blade. "Beg me, and I'll help you."

Remembering that kiss, Gu Shiyue feels her ears burn. "...Are you holding a grudge?"

"Three, two..."

"Sis!" She grabs Luo Zhiyu's sleeve, her voice soft and trembling. "Please..."

Luo Zhiyu suddenly smiles.

She pulls Gu Shiyue behind her, shielding her from view. A dark current swirls in her eyes as she glances sideways. "I'm taking this person with me."

Only when Gu Shiyue is brought into a top-floor office overlooking the entire city does it finally dawn on her: the woman who had been drinking alone at the bar is Luo Zhiyu, a regular in financial magazines.

"Scared?" Luo Zhiyu leans against her custom-made desk worth millions, her fingertip brushing Gu Shiyue's cheek.

Gu Shiyue's eyes light up, and she suddenly leans closer. "Sis, you're so rich!"

She tugs on Luo Zhiyu's clothes and tilts her face up with a sly smile. "Then I guess I'll have to stick with you."

Luo Zhiyu gently lifts her chin with a finger, her breath drawing near.

"Where did the courage you had when you stole that kiss go?"

Gu Shiyue holds her breath as she hears Luo Zhiyu ask in a low, unhurried voice:

"So, do you dare to try again now?"
