[Detective Conan] Winter Limited Edition

"I met you once again, and yet it feels as if I've never met you at all."

To Gin, it was Alice's seductive smile, the clichéd dialogue from a 1950s or 60s American romance, a fruit that was both tart and sweet, and the murderous intent that rose in him time and time again, only to be extinguished.

To Alice, it was Gin's cold eyes, the bloodstained bandages she took off and wrapped again day after day, the snowy cabin with its windows open for ventilation, and the sweetness of stepping lightly toward the fireplace.

The dream ended as the blizzard faded away.

Even in dreams, all that remained was a swaying golden hue.

Gin and Alice's story stayed in that winter, a season with a blizzard that lasted only five months.
