Detective Conan: You Know Best How You Feel

"You don't know what I'm like when I stop loving you."

Brandy laughed without mercy. She watched as Rei Furuya's fingers, clasped around her hand, were pried loose one by one, just as she had been unable to pull Bourbon away that day when the Public Security Bureau surrounded them and pinned his shadow to the ground.

Brandy thought she and Toru Amuro were like Amy and Nick from Gone Girl.

Only later did she realize their roles had been reversed.

Vermouth thought Toru Amuro had been outsmarted by a little girl playing innocent, but she never imagined that Rei Furuya had been the hunter in hiding all along.

"Brandy is dead."

She stood behind him and saw him making a phone call in the moonlight, his eyes hazy.

It was like their reunion years later, when sunlight fell over him and blurred Brandy's vision.
