[Naruto] A Countryside Romance

[Everyone's Favorite, All Routes Lead to the Female Protagonist. She grows from weak to strong, rather than being invincible from the start, since whenever she plays a game, she just clicks whatever is lit up.]

[Warnings: The female protagonist is not strong. She's pretty useless early on. Forced choices are there to branch into side stories.]

The large-scale dating sim Country Love Story was ignored by practically everyone during its first week on sale because its name sounded so tacky. The game's publisher approached Han Jiang Jizhi, hoping she'd give it a try, and promised that if she completed the game, every game from their company would be added to her library for free.

Han Jiang Jizhi was tempted, even though she'd never played a dating sim before.

But free eggs! Who wouldn't want those?

Han Jiang Jizhi quickly downloaded the game and logged in.

The game was supposed to be immersive and offer a high degree of freedom, with only a handful of forced choices. And since hardly anyone had played it, she jumped right in without looking up a guide.

[Act One]

[You are the child bride of two brothers from the Uchiha Clan. When you grow up, either the older brother or the younger brother will marry you. You needn't worry about being unable to marry them both, though, because neither of them actually wants to marry you.]

[Since the older brother doesn't want to get married, the younger brother ends up marrying you, for the sake of producing heirs for the clan.]

[The moment you log into the game, it's your wedding night.]

Han Jiang Jizhi: Wait, what?!?!

Isn't this a dating sim? How am I already spending my wedding night before I've even started pursuing anyone? Hold on!!

After agonizing over it for ages, Han Jiang Jizhi chose C. From then on, she enjoyed a wonderful life with her dear husband, full of shameless fun (and scheming).

During a war, her dear husband was stabbed by an enemy and died of his wounds. Newly widowed and free, Han Jiang Jizhi became a much brighter person.

Until one day, the older brother asked her to marry him: [What's wrong with an older brother taking care of his younger brother's wife?]

Her husband's archenemy also proposed to her: [I killed your husband. I can become your new husband.]

Under the temptation of ninjutsu, Han Jiang Jizhi chose the older brother so she could become stronger.

But the older brother inexplicably abandoned her and left the village, only to be killed by the First Hokage.

Han Jiang Jizhi, widowed once again: Damn! Is this some kind of widow simulator?!

[Act Two]

[You are an orphan girl whom the Second Hokage found and brought back to the village. The first time he saw your face, he stared in a daze for several seconds. The reason was simple: it was exactly the same as the face you had in Act One.]

[You were injured on a mission. When the Second Hokage stood by your bedside in the middle of the night, you woke up.]

Han Jiang Jizhi decisively chose B. She concealed her identity and became her own double.

She was taken in as a disciple by Tobirama Senju, and from then on she could do whatever she pleased in the village. Her only problem was that Tobirama Senju kept trying to find her a partner, making her choose one of his students to marry.

[C. Mitokado Homura.]

Han Jiang Jizhi: ??? Do I really have to pick one? Why isn't Kagami Uchiha on the list? Tobirama Senju, you really do hate the Uchiha!!!!

She chose C. He didn't like her either, so the two of them agreed to pretend to be together for a while and see how it went.

[You are a test subject cloned from the cells of your second playthrough self. Shimura Danzō comes here and takes you away.]

[A. Tell him you're the same person.]

[B. Don't tell him, even if it kills you.]

Han Jiang Jizhi chose B. Shimura Danzō took her away, and she exhausted herself pretending to be an idiot so she wouldn't get harassed by a creep.

Just as she was planning to use her newly acquired Wood Release to blow up his house, Hiruzen Sarutobi showed up to save her after Orochimaru tipped him off. Han Jiang, finally free of her idiot act, was moved to tears.

She was rubbing her hands together, ready to work her way toward becoming a Kage-level ninja, when Orochimaru, the man whose clothes she'd previously stripped off, suddenly came to see her: [You should repay me for saving your life by giving yourself to me.]

When Han Jiang Jizhi tried to refuse, he played his trump card: [Join forces with me. I can help you develop Wood Release and make you stronger.]

Han Jiang Jizhi: I'm tempted!!! I'll say yes!!!

Act Three won't be posted yet. I'll put it up when I start publishing the story.

The rest is still undecided. There will probably be around nine or ten acts, plus side stories for all the choices the female protagonist didn't pick. Note: The female protagonist herself can't see the endings for the routes she didn't choose.
