The Literary Greats' Coffin Lids Won't Stay Shut

[Warning: This is not a power fantasy, not a power fantasy, not a power fantasy. The protagonist has a rough time early on and is extremely unlucky.] My name is Hatsushikano Raina, and I'm a genius author. I'm not bragging: by the time I was sixteen, I'd won every literary prize in Japan. People called me “the walking encyclopedia of Japanese literary awards.” But everything changed after I moved to Yokohama. I woke up one day to find that the Japanese literary world had collapsed overnight, and the money-scented face on the ten-thousand-yen bill had run away from home. The gravity manipulator, who fought harder than anyone, was a famous literary giant. The rabid dog I picked up was a walking Akutagawa Prize. I even fished a famous literary lunatic trying to drown himself out of the river. Me: ??? Though I had to deal with the double blow of transmigrating and losing my house, life had to go on. I thought I was living an ordinary life, but only later did I realize that even the world's rules had changed These people had the names of famous authors, but they actually lived in a world of superpowers. Some people were born with superpowers, some had swords sticking out of their heads, and the rest could use magic. Even playing ball looked like cheating. All that said, I'm just an utterly ordinary demi-human. ◆Not plot-driven, not a power fantasy, and no story-within-a-story. ◆The main story is told in third person. ◆One-on-one romance, pairing with Akutagawa. ◆Feel free to give writing advice. I won't listen anyway. ◆Character art on Weibo: @Rigenxuanzi <<<<< Next story, now open for advance reservations↓↓↓ I Debuted as the Center of the Port Mafia Blurb: Ichitani Yuji is an utterly ordinary low-ranking member of the Port Mafia. His only plan for the future is to stay alive with all his limbs intact. But his plans were completely thrown into disarray. While on a mission, Ichitani Yuji was unexpectedly spotted by the director of the IDOL101 show and somehow ended up entering the competition. When the show aired, his naturally stunning looks and outstanding professional skills made him an overnight sensation. He was hailed as “the dream of ten million girls.” On the night of the finale, Ichitani Yuji debuted as the center by a landslide, transforming from a Mafia member into a hot new idol. In the eyes of his former colleagues Ichitani Yuji, once a low-ranking member of the Port Mafia, now appeared on the giant LED screen beside the Port Mafia headquarters. He even had a massive flower wall at the headquarters entrance and fan-support ads everywhere. Bold lettering scrolled across the LED screen: Ichitani Yuji's Center Debut!!! The gravity manipulator was baffled: Why did my subordinate debut as an idol?! The rich American: Brought his whole family to Yokohama and dropped seven billion to support his idol! The Hunting Dogs' vice-captain: Who says government employees can't stan idols? Big brother is the best, always! Port Mafia colleagues: Everyone, help him climb the rankings! Our Port Mafia idol has to be number one! Theme: Face life with positivity.
