This Pillar Is Too Hot to Eat

Arisugawa Ikuto is a demi-human who moonlights as a Saniwa. A demi-human who cannot die and can revive endlessly. He dares to live off his looks in the boss's lair. When he realizes he might get eaten instead, he runs for it. When he meets his first patron again, Arisugawa Ikuto not only takes advantage of his hospitality, he turns around and blames him for nearly breaking his sword tsukumogami. Arisugawa Ikuto: My swords are expensive. If you break one, are you going to pay for it? Muzan: ? Are you looking down on me? Thanks to his demi-human revival cheat, Arisugawa Ikuto encounters his second patron, the Water Hashira, after loading his save with no clothes on. The infuriating part is that the other man mistakes him for someone in a particular line of work. --Honestly, why would you make baseless accusations and ruin my good name? His third patron is a delivery god who charges five yen. Following the principle that only a fool would turn down a bargain, he fleeces this young and naive delivery god until there's practically no wool left to shear. The Water Hashira is a good person. He introduces Ikuto to a lucrative, high-paying job: joining the Demon Slayer Corps. With more and more swords to support, Ikuto has no choice but to grab a sword and get to work. Arisugawa Ikuto says modestly that he's weak and doesn't know any Breathing Styles, yet he swings his sword like he's chopping vegetables and takes the MVP title.
