I Want Hinata-Kun to Confess to Me

[A rec for the writing buddy who's starting a story with me: Kageyama's Eyes Are So Scary They Made Me Cry [Haikyuu!!] by Niu Nai Ye Zhi Dong]

Utasaki Aira is hopeless at sports, with every sickly trait maxed out, but life never goes the way she wants...

Her elementary school classmate is a kyudo prodigy known as the "young nobleman," her childhood friend has already ascended the throne as Iceberg's king, and the person she nearly got engaged to is student council president and leads the basketball team to dominate the nation. Even her childhood friend is a rising star in the swimming world.

But Utasaki Aira has no athletic ability whatsoever and wants nothing to do with any sport.

It's common knowledge: getting close to a sports idiot brings misfortune.

Yet in her third year of middle school, Utasaki Aira fell in love at first sight with Hinata, who played volleyball.

From then on, she rushed toward the sun without looking back.

* One-on-one pairing with Shoyo

* An innocent school romance, with Haikyuu!! taking center stage

* A self-indulgent bit of fun. Feel free to offer writing advice; I won't listen anyway.

* I changed the premise because I couldn't keep writing the original one. Feel free to unfollow or remove it from your collection. Thanks.

I Keep Coming Back to Life in the Case Files of the Young Kindaichi

Blurb:

Shikami Harusato died.

Shikami Harusato came back to life.

Dying and coming back wasn't a big deal. After all, he, Shikami Harusato, was an immortal Ajin.

It was just... his respawn point seemed a little off.

It seemed he had accidentally come back to life at a crime scene, and he himself was the unfortunate victim.

Shikami Harusato: Uh...

He opened his eyes without warning in front of a crowd, staring wide-eyed at the detective trying to examine his corpse.

With his face smeared in blood, Shikami Harusato gave an awkward yet polite smile. "Is it possible, just maybe, that I was only pretending to be dead?"

*

Shikami Harusato, an Ajin on the run with a dark heart, ruthless methods, and a lot to say, discovered after reviving that he had become a member of a massive international criminal organization.

Maybe not being able to die makes you want to take risks.

Shikami Harusato dared to defuse a bomb all by himself, setting off a huge firework in the skies over Tokyo. The officers had already written his eulogy in their minds when he returned without a scratch.

Shikami Harusato explained, "The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department was fooled. It wasn't a bomb, it was a firework."

Matsuda: "?"

Amuro Tooru figured that if a bullet went straight through an ordinary person's heart, they'd probably be dead, right? But there wasn't even a hole in Shikami Harusato.

Shikami Harusato glanced down at the blood flowing from his chest. "Would you believe me if I said it's ketchup?"

Amuro Tooru: "?"

Edogawa Conan failed to stop him in time and could only watch as Shikami Harusato downed a lethal dose of poison, collapsed on the spot... and sat back up a second later.

"Maybe it was expired. It went straight to my head."

Edogawa Conan: "?"

After accidentally taking APTX4869, Shikami Harusato shrank, but returned to normal a day later... because he stabbed himself once.

Shikami Harusato marveled, "What a coincidence. I guess I have a tolerance to this drug."

Haibara Ai: "?"

Shikami Harusato was simply someone who loved danger and excitement. Before he knew it, he realized everyone else had developed a strange impression of him.

Public Security: "You've done more than enough. Please try relying on me."

FBI: "You don't have to face the darkness alone."

Detective: "I know you only wanted to protect everyone else, so you chose to sacrifice yourself."

Huh? What are you talking about?

Shikami Harusato was bewildered.
