Solar System Survival Plan [Infinite]

[The next story, "How Could an O Who Pretends to Be an A Possibly Find Another A?", is now underway! Come give it a try!]

[Six years ago, the mothership of an unknown civilization cast its shadow over Earth's orbit, forcing humanity to take part in a baffling survival "talent show." At first, the only plan was to survive. But after two fearsome champions emerged, things seemed to change...]

Solar Calendar, 2518.

The first time Fu Chongming saw Lu Weishuang, the young man was holding a scrawny, bald little bird protectively against his chest. A blizzard turned his eyebrows white, but could not wipe the tenderness from his smile.

The second time Fu Chongming saw Lu Weishuang, the young man had a long knife in each hand. He fought from one end of the street to the other, half drenched in blood, standing on the enemy's remains, his killing intent filling the air and his gaze as cold and stern as winter.

Fu Chongming felt his heart tremble.

"Want to team up and survive to the end?"

The fearsome man with the knife raises an eyebrow. "Survive? They dare lay a hand on Earth. This damn competition committee should worry about how it's going to survive first."

CP: A godlike gong who takes on the whole world X a fearsome shou with a dual personality who switches unpredictably between brains and brawn

[We have received notice from the competition committee that this story will enter VIP status this Friday, November 22. Thank you for supporting the official release! Let's celebrate with flowers and our heartthrob!]

[Reader's Guide]

1. Entirely fictional. Some of the infinite-flow elements inevitably follow classic rules. Most of the scientific terms in the story are there because they sound cool; some are classic science-fiction concepts, not real existing science. But actual researchers are welcome to explain the real science!

2. Unless something unavoidable happens (for example, the author gets kidnapped by aliens), updates will go up on the hour as scheduled. If anything comes up, I'll ask for leave. (The aliens who kidnap the author are pretty considerate. They'll even help the author ask for leave.)

3. As usual, the author only produces high-sugar romance (and melodrama), so bring your own blood-sugar medication (*^▽^*). I promise that every setup and bit of foreshadowing in the story will develop into super-sweet romance. All you need to worry about is cavities.

[Coming Soon]

1. "How Could an O Who Pretends to Be an A Possibly Find Another A?" Lin Jingye is just an ordinary Beta, a deskbound captain in the Star Alliance with nothing but a rundown supply ship. And this unlucky Beta has an Alpha ex-boyfriend who said "I love your soul" every time he tried to win him over, then turned around and pursued a noble O with highly compatible pheromones.

Until one day, the Star Alliance's First Marshal is ambushed in deep space by an unknown alien civilization, and his flagship crashes. Lin Jingye is the nearest ship, so he's dispatched for an emergency rescue. Before he can even give the order to run, he sees the bloodied god of war dismantle his cargo bay, attach a main cannon, and lead him straight back to destroy the enemy's lair.

"I'm requisitioning your starship," says the A everyone dreams of. "And you, too."

Seeing all the O's on the star-net constantly queuing up to beg the marshal to father their children, Lin Jingye replies awkwardly, "But I'm not an Omega."

The marshal smiles beneath the starlight. "That's fine. I am."

Later, Omegas across the stars are left heartbroken: What? Our heartthrob is an O? I want to be a lesbian!

The Alphas are collectively stunned: What the hell? Our heartthrob is an O? I guess I'm not gay after all!

Only the reporter stays calm under pressure: Exclusive news! The marshal has fallen for the Federation's first Beta general. Everyone else who can't fight, give up and go to bed.

CP: A gorgeous, seductive marshal gong X a refined, dignified general who's secretly ruthless shou. O gong, B shou. The scummy Alpha is already scared to death.

[Shocking! The most Alpha gong in the universe is an Omega!]

Theme: Never give up hope. Humanity can defeat an alien invasion by standing together.
