Content warnings [Please don't force yourself to read if you find these troubling]

Plot-focused. The author's taste in romance is basic, and their writing skills are woefully inadequate. They have more enthusiasm than ability, so the romance in this story is not very prominent.

Both the pursuer and the pursued have their share of problems. They are not paragons of virtue, their values may be questionable, and their personalities are far from whole. Don't read if that bothers you.

Don't identify too closely with the characters. This is danmei, not a Mary Sue story. Sit back and enjoy their bickering, breakups, and reconciliations. I don't recommend getting deeply invested and keeping score over who gives more. They're both young, pretty girls. Why play their mom? I'm the only old hag who's actually their mother.

There should be no fangirls in the danmei world. If you're a dream girl, turn left and go read BG.

Deep within the human soul lies a palace, where all the memories of past and present lives are stored. Every night, after falling asleep, people return to the palace with everything they've seen and heard that day, to preserve it.

In the dense fog surrounding the palace lurk countless "stowaways," waiting for a chance to sneak into people's dreams and smuggle themselves into the real world.

The Nightmare Enforcement Officers are a human customs force made up of selected individuals. Guided by the Akasha System, they have fought the stowaways for thousands of years.

How did the mysterious and beautiful young Song Yin become the chosen one, and why does he harbor a desire for self-destruction?

Why does Qi Zhengnan, a domineering and cold-blooded captain from a prestigious family, both love and hate Song Yin?

From stabbing a sea monster in the kidney in a dungeon to offering his heart with a bouquet of roses,

In the depths of nightmares lie their oldest bonds, their most conflicted choices, and their deepest love.
