A Hymn of Holy Light for the Dark Knight

[I did my best, but I really can’t get past the censorship filter, orz] In ballads sung by traveling bards, dark knights are usually forced to play the villain. Can’t be helped. To fit the role, they have to... Out of money? Take it from the party leader. There’s a princess? Kidnap her and demand ransom from the king. The priest next door is gorgeous?! Don’t just stand there, knock him out and carry him home. Anyone who saw it gets silenced! What, you have a problem with that? What a joke. Dark knights are bad guys. So this is a clichéd, inspirational story about a dark villain fighting his way into the Holy Temple of Light, abducting a beautiful priest, and earning fame in life and after death. Villains have dreams too! Villains have rights too! Speaking up for all villains everywhere! P.S. May the deity of darkness protect you from insomnia tonight. A notice from the Dark Lord: The novel will be available to buy starting Tuesday, November 15~~~ Thanks so much for your support I’m using scheduled drafts for most updates now. Some readers said the app doesn’t notify them when scheduled drafts go live, so here’s a general note: updates are set for 21:00. If a new chapter hasn’t appeared after that, it means... I’m taking the day off, 2333. Important notes: *Don’t worry too much about who’s the top or bottom. They’re both strong. [On the surface], the knight is the top, because knights have great stamina, can fight and take a beating, and have fantastic physiques. It’d be a waste not to put that body to work. The priest isn’t very athletic, so he can just lie back and enjoy himself. [But yes, the priest is the one who’s on top mentally.] *This is a straightforward Western fantasy setting with no other elements, and the worldbuilding is entirely my own. The pairing is the clichéd dark-and-light combination. *Thanks to Dragonlance, The Lord of the Rings, Warcraft, the Dark Elf series, and other classic Western fantasy works for providing the author with intellectual support. *The knight may not be a good person in the traditional sense, but he is a good person all the same. *Other stories in this series share the same world, but they were written during my chuunibyou phase. They may be hard on the eyes, so please don’t hit me! *I can’t promise I’ve grown out of my chuunibyou phase. Theme:
