The World Turned Upside Down

A transitional story about a love that cannot be attained. The chapters are already written, and it updates every night at eight.

This story and Mr. Peacock are companion novels.

I had given my heart to the moon.

But Li Shang was both the moon and a ditch. He wasn't worth mourning, and he wasn't worth saving with something like true love. He was hard, unyielding reality, a wall that showed no mercy. If you wanted to, you could run into it anytime and break your head open.

Li Shang lacked for nothing. Unlike Qi Chu, who had an ascetic monk's air of abstinence, Li Shang had no sadness about him. He was tall, strong, handsome, and radiant. He had no shortage of physical pleasures, nor did he want some lofty romance. He was simply an utterly ordinary man in this world. By comparison, Su Rong seemed more and more like a lunatic.

Su Rong often felt like he was performing acrobatics. First his secret crush went nowhere, so he started flirting, then turned around and became cold as ice...

He was so clever, able to learn anything, yet the one thing he could never learn was how to let go.
