Heartwarming Reads to Save for Later
Stories that passed us by over the years. I hope to meet you again while stocking up on reads this warm winter.
Good Reads
Stories that passed you by over the years.
Huai Shang, Absolutely Incredible
Huai Shang is the authority!
Boys' Love Reads (Some Chapters Locked to Subscribers)
I don't read niche-specific genres or angsty stories. Mostly bottom-focused, with a few top-focused stories. Ratings are based on the author's skill, the genre, and my personal taste. Includes reviews. Updated and replaced from time to time.
Historical BL
My personal record of historical danmei
BL Favorites to Keep: Pretty Good or Better
My tastes are unusual, my tolerance for melodrama, satisfying moments, and dealbreakers is all over the place (read at your own risk). I'm leaving out the biggest hits.
A Lifelong Love
Forever under Huai Shang's spell. Huai Shang, please revise the novel; so many chapters are locked.
Wuxia Feuds
A collection of wuxia novels I’ve read.
Books I Bought the Complete Edition Of
For my own records
Su Bottoms / Strong Bottoms / Heartthrob Bottoms / Character-Focused
I like the bottom to be the strongest. I’m all about bottoms being awesome and ambitious. The bottom should take the lead in the relationship or career. More than a bottom stan, I’m a protagonist stan, and I care most about how the bottom protagonist is written and how strong they are.
Novels Set in Ancient Times
Ancient-setting stories, including historical fiction, alternate history, and wuxia. Plot-focused, with farming and development, construction, mystery, war, jianghu stories, and more
Wow, I Really Am a Product Fangirl
I add books I love here mostly to see the list’s ranking. I don’t care about rankings or how picky I am, I just love rereading these two, three, four, five times. These days I add them whenever they come to mind.
Reading Log 2
[2025*26] Suspended Bird, Wind and Dust, Overfed, Hunting the Light (this one was locked), A Few Less Words, Laughter in the Lamplight
Historical Danmei and Cultivation (Mostly Rated 9+)
BL >> no-CP = multi-CP. Picked from memory: stories I remember well enough to recommend to others. The farther down the list, the older the stories. My tastes are all over the place, so consider yourself warned.
For Personal Use: Teacher-Student Stories
Personal bookshelf for collecting and keeping track. Ratings are meaningless.
Eclectic Tastes
Recommendations from books I’ve read. I’m open to all kinds of genres, and they’re all rated at least four stars. Basically no dealbreakers (or the writing is just too good).
Eclectic Reader
I’m an omnivore, so there’s a bit of everything. These are all the books I’ve read that I rated four stars or higher (I rated a few four stars but left them out because the plot wasn’t actually that compelling).
My Favorite Huai Shang Novels
Huai Shang, you write exactly to my kinks.
Searching for My Dream Find
Please note: ① Negative reviews of the authors' other works may be included. ② These are purely subjective opinions, and any similarities to yours are coincidental. ③ Not recommended for fans of either the top or the bottom.
My Personal Treasure Trove of BL
My favorite BL novels. There's a mix of popular, moderately popular, and niche titles, and I'm still working on the list. The ratings are just for fun, and I had to give them four stars. I'm leaving out the hugely popular ones.
If Only We Had Met Somewhere Other Than Jinjiang
Plenty of tension, with a preference for the shou. Both the gong and shou are compelling.
Pretty Good Pure Romance
Four-star reads. My tastes are pretty varied, and this is purely subjective. I’m just recording my thoughts on the books I read.
Strong X Strong Collection
So good!
Master-Disciple Stories with a Younger Top
Mostly cultivation and historical danmei. These are all subjective opinions, with no attempt at objectivity, and I'll update as I read. The top is a dog and the bottom is a cat: that's the rule handed down by our ancestors. My goal is to reach one hundred master-disciple, older-top-younger-bottom stories!

2025.10.10, 3 Days, 480,000 words. A capital HE! The wheel of history is always moving forward, and the dust is flying and settling. Also: some of the descriptions of hair in this article are really interesting [dog head holding rose]
So uncomfortable. . It was really sad to see the two protagonists die in the novel, although it was a good ending. . I feel like I can live in everyone's hearts forever without writing. Uh-huh.
Feeling lost... This book is so well written. It is indeed Huai University. There is nothing to say about the emotional development of the two protagonists and the plot development of the entire book. Each link is linked to each other, making people enjoy watching it.
December 22, 2025. The writing is very good. Huai Shang's writing style is really profound. I like it very much. I like Shan Chao Xie Yun.
The second time I watched it, I burst into tears when I saw the ending of the extra story. They lived and died in the same quilt. The late emperor did not establish a queen throughout his life, and he only had a close relationship with Commander Xie.
Thank you to heaven, thank you to earth, thank you for your hard work~
