[Journey to the West] Master

Updates whenever inspiration strikes.

Under the Five Elements Mountain, Wukong suffered the greatest misjudgment of his life.

He thought the cheap master who rescued him was just a foolish, ordinary monk, someone he could tease and bully whenever he pleased.

So, after playing his foolish disciple for a while...

"Silly monk, I was lying! I'm not going to be your disciple anymore, hahaha!"

Then he was subjected to merciless suppression.

"Silly monkey, I was lying too. You're already my disciple, and you think you can just leave? Too late."

A teacher imparts knowledge, teaches skills, and answers questions.

Bodhi taught him how to become an immortal, but not how to live in the mortal world.

He knew nothing about the ways of the world. He entered it impulsively, did as he pleased, and ran wild without restraint, until he finally became a prisoner in the hands of the Tathagata.

Afterward, that monk taught him everything. He called him Master and held him dear, bowing to him in reverent devotion.

You taught me to tell good from evil.

You taught me to understand reason.

You were the one who made my heart stir for the first time, turning my world upside down.

Great Sage top x monk bottom.

Theme: All things are equal, and every life is precious. No person, and no reason, can justify treating a life with contempt. Gods and Buddhas should not sit high above everyone else, wantonly taking the lives of ordinary beings. Justice and fairness must never be suppressed. Anyone who kills indiscriminately, even a god or Buddha, deserves punishment.
