The Last Cat and Its Pet Little Bluebird

A cute little pet story. After the apocalypse, only one house cat and the little bluebird he'd long coveted remained on Earth. An ordinary cat and an ordinary bird. Until one day, the house cat and the little bluebird started talking like people. What brought about the end of the world? Where did all the animals go? Why can the house cat and the little bluebird speak? The explanation for all these mysterious phenomena is... After diligently researching a trove of classical myths, the little bluebird reached a conclusion: "Because I'm a phoenix. Phoenixes are divine beasts. I'm powerful, so I can't die. Roar!"

House cat: "Well, then I must be a true dragon. True dragons are powerful too. Roar!"

A stupid, tsundere cat x a hot-tempered, self-important, even more tsundere parrot. A story about two idiots, also natural enemies, doing whatever they please and living it up after all the animals on Earth have gone extinct. Just having fun writing.

A cute little story of about twenty thousand characters (haha, now I realize twenty thousand characters isn't enough to finish it). Just writing for my own amusement.

"Hey, do you still want to eat me?"

"Of course. I'll eat you as soon as you come out."
