Traces of Cat Paws

A black cat or a white cat, any cat that catches mice is a good cat. In fact, cats come from all over the world: China's orange cats, calicos, tuxedo cats, leopard cats; and foreign ragdolls, golden and silver shaded cats, Siamese cats, ragamuffins... Meow, meow, meow, a whole clowder of cats!

The world is falling apart, and cats are stitching it back together. So, how about this two-legged creature turns into a cat for a while? Let's call her Siyue Meow. You can think of her as a Chinese village cat.

Siyue Meow is a little kitty with no connection to "April." If she had to have some connection to April, it would be that she's three times April: a little kitty born in mid-December.

Siyue Meow is a little kitty who loves pink: pink pajamas, a pink bedding set, a pink glasses case, a pink washcloth, a pink fabric wardrobe... Even when getting an IV, she wants the nurse to use a pink needle.

Siyue Meow is a little kitty who loves anime. The real world is too filthy and ugly, while the two-dimensional world is too wonderful and beautiful. Whether Chinese animation was at its former height or Japanese anime was all the rage, she always kept an eye on them.

Siyue Meow is a little kitty who loves writing, writing whatever she likes and however she likes. If the eyes are the windows to the soul, then words are the notes of the soul. But a cat is still a cat, after all. The collection of writings Siyue Meow began compiling in the second half of 2021 will be called... Pawprints of a Cat.

Theme: A collection of Siyue Meow's essays since 2021.
