A Love Across Three Thousand Years: Transmigrating to the Qinling Mountains

Bao Si, the enchantress blamed for the fall of the Western Zhou, was given to King You of Zhou, Ji Gongsui, by her beloved Bao Hongde three thousand years ago, after he crossed the Bao-Xie Road.

The "beacon-fire game that won Bao Si's smile" brought the Western Zhou dynasty to an end. Though she died in Haojing, the four wishes she made in the Qinling Mountains kept her waiting for three thousand years, all for the chance to reunite with Bao Hongde...

But as she waited, she came to realize she should have been waiting for the mute general, the man who had silently guarded the Qinling Mountains for three thousand years, hoping to build a highway and take her home!

In October 2021, the Baoping Expressway opened to traffic. Bao Si returned to life and reunited with the mute general. Together, they crossed the Tiantai Mountain Tunnel and returned to their homeland in the ancient state of Bao, now Hanzhong. Hand in hand, they set out toward the ends of the earth...

I sent my concubine away to bring peace to the realm, and prayed to the moon in the Qinling Mountains, making four wishes.

I waited a thousand years by the River of the Dead. Now we ride together on the Baoping Expressway, returning home.

Three thousand years of waiting.

Only now do I realize that you were the one I should have been waiting for all along.

You were waiting for me, too...

This time, take me home!

Let's go home together...
