The World Needs BL Novels (Complete Edition)
I lean toward stories with a submissive male lead, and enjoy a mix of genres. No angst, please. Get lost, trashy scumbag tops! I don't have high standards for writing. More recommendations coming...
Mostly Original Settings, Hurt/Comfort, Battle-Scarred, Beautiful and Tragic Heroes
I get excited whenever the protagonist gets hurt. I like seeing them hold back their pain while others worry over them and take care of them, or regret it afterward. I especially like interstellar settings, historical settings, and quick transmigration. I try not to recommend popular stories. Feel free to recommend some!
Pure-Love Mystery and Detective Fiction
I like episodic stories. No particular order. My favorite pairings have mutual doting, with the receiving partner getting a bit more affection. I also like relationships where both sides get equal attention.
Miscellaneous Omnivore's Reading Log 2
Danmei, romance, no-CP, anything goes. Some are great, some are terrible. This is just a record for myself.
Great BL Reads for 2026
Preferences: serious drama, fantasy, feel-good wish fulfillment, and humor, with sweet mutual romance.
Someone Please Appreciate the Sickly Bottom
A collection of sickly bottoms. This is highly subjective: I’m a total bottom enthusiast, so you know what I like.
Reading List 1.0
Great books you can reread again and again.
Plot-Driven and Leveling-Up Stories
Saved for myself and repeated rereads. Most of them focus on a pampered, adored shou
So Satisfying
So satisfying!
Cool, Beautiful, Wife-Type, and Cute-When-Frowning Bottoms
I’m not into pretty-boy tops. I like some top-focused stories because I enjoy seeing the top’s perspective on the bottom, but I don’t care about the author. I really dislike stories with lots of inner monologue and snarky commentary.
Modern Setting
Modern-day novels only, including school stories, crime investigation, and ABO.
Warm and Popular, Personal Taste, BL
Mostly popular stories, all to my personal taste. BL. I recommend what I like, so they’re mostly five-star reads. If I haven’t marked whether the couple stays exclusive, it may be because the setting is fictional or I forgot.
For Myself: I Love Shipping Couples, Especially Bottoms
Give me all the beautiful-but-broken bottoms, cute bottoms, and adored, strong bottoms! Dealbreakers: promiscuous tops and side characters who like the top. Bonus points if the bottom isn't the top's first partner, or if the bottom is mildly popular with everyone.

Strong Protagonists in Modern, Showbiz, Detective, and Professional Settings
Modern-day stories I'm saving. Whether they're realistic or supernatural, strength can come from within: business rivalries, fighting villains, career ambitions, or simply facing life head-on.
2026 BL Reading List
HE only, 1v1. Mostly farming stories, usually from the shou's perspective. Not into harem magnets, multiple versions of one character, too much subplot romance, or BE. Be sure to check the comments.
Stories With a Frail Bottom or a Really Captivating Bottom
I'm a fan of bottom protagonists, with a bit of a dark, twisted taste. I like younger bottoms. Unless otherwise noted, the books on this list don't have secondary couples (I'm not a fan of those). I'll mark the ones that do.
A Bit of Everything Worth Reading
I've been reading for ten years. These are books I managed to finish, and they still cover a wide range of styles.
My Heart Is Filled with Joy
All completed works that I found exceptionally well-written, with stories so immersive they stayed with me long after I finished!

For My Own Reference (Crime Investigation)
Trying to slowly organize the books I've read. No ratings or reviews, and the order means nothing. (There are over 600 books in my favorites on Jinjiang, and the page won't even load anymore.)
Unread Novels
Clearing out old books from my collection.
Personal Favorites 2.0
The last list kept eating books once it hit 40, so I’m starting a new one to save them here.
Books I Love Reading
All really good

The fate of Lu Siyu and Song Wen began with the tragic massacre of their family. One is the only survivor who was hidden in a cabinet and survived, and the other is a child who accidentally broke into the murder scene and rescued him from hell. Both of them bear the scars left by the 519 case, and each is trapped in the nightmare of the past. Si Yu was enveloped in hatred and pain and closed his heart; Song Wen was imprinted with the shadow of his childhood and was afraid of darkness and claustrophobia. Fortunately, fate led the two people to meet for the third time. For Si Yu, Song Wen faced his deepest fear time and time again. His bravery was not because he was born fearless, but because of Si Yu, he had the confidence to fight against the nightmare. When Si Yu was lonely and helpless, it was the "little wolf" who brought him light and dispelled the darkness. When he stood alone on the edge of good and evil, it was Song Wen who hugged him from behind. They cling to each other in the darkness, each seeing the broken and soft side under each other's hard shell. They are companions who can risk their lives, and they are also the only lovers who understand each other's pain.
