[Harry Potter] Reading the Future: The Sequel

This is a continuation of Lemon's HP Reading the Future. The author abandoned it, so I'm continuing it for my own amusement. Please visit her page for the earlier chapters. In the autumn of 2016, I was lucky enough to discover this story. It was an extraordinary and fascinating work that gave me many unusual experiences. I say this because I found some of its content so interesting that it couldn't be viewed as just a novel, especially the author's commentary in a few chapters. In fact, this is my favorite of all Lemon's stories. Unfortunately, by the time I found it, Lemon had already given up on it. It had been abandoned. Later, I read some other Harry Potter reaction fics and even tried a few times to write something myself, but I never got started. I doubt I'll ever find another story about reading the original Harry Potter books that I like more, and my own writing wouldn't be any better, so after much thought, I gave up on the idea. But reaction fics gave me a whole new experience. For the first time, I discovered that this kind of story existed, and that it could be written this way. So I went on to read many more, most of them reaction fics for The King's Avatar. I even wrote one myself, though I never finished it. I had some free time these past few days, so I looked through my bookmarks and read this story again. When I reached the end, I felt deeply regretful. I also heard that the author wasn't going to continue it, and suddenly felt an urge to fill in the rest. I know my own abilities, and there's quite a gap between my writing and Lemon's. Still, I can't help wanting to pick up my pen and write something, even if it's only a poor continuation. At least I can add a little something to it and put some of my regrets to rest. *This story continues from Chapter Eight of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, after the wedding. For the earlier chapters, please visit Lemon Drop's story, HP Reading the Future. The full context is there; I'm only writing a continuation. *Please don't send me paid gifts. If you want to send one, please visit Lemon's page instead. All the credit belongs to her. Thank you. *I'm writing this to put my own regrets to rest. My writing isn't very good, but I hope everyone who reads it will discuss the plot with me, so we can continue the story together. *I'll be using Lemon's jump-cut style, so please leave comments on the first chapter about what you'd like to see. I'll choose from your suggestions. If there are no comments, I'll write whatever I like.
