If one day you discovered that your world was nothing more than a comic, what would you do?
Obviously, you’d figure out how to jump out of it and beat the cartoonist to a pulp!
Date Masamune
*This world is nothing more than a comic.
He is a passerby character who is never even mentioned in it.
He and the people he knows are all supporting characters who have to die so the comic can create a character readers will love.
This world is false.
*"Bourbon, did you know? This world is just a comic."
Igbit's scarred face pulled into an exaggerated smile. He stared at Amuro Tooru with a calm gaze that sent a chill down his spine.
"And you, Bourbon, are an important character in this comic."
"So no matter what happens, you won't die."
*The protagonist is Date Masamune, a hardcore member of the Black Organization, but not a member of the liquor faction. He is underage until the story ends, so romance is a no-go.
*His relationship with the Black Organization is that of an external consultant and an ally.
*He will never be loyal to anyone, not even himself.
Another upcoming novel:
Yuan Yashu woke beneath the moonlight and, still half-asleep, found himself bound to a book.
Looking at the thick stack of recorded incidents in the book and his wrist, swollen from writing stories, he turned an accusatory gaze on the little detective who showed up at every single scene.
"Kid, maybe you should get ready to apply for a job in the underworld after you die. I think you’d be perfect for it."
*Yuan Yashu is a hardcore member of the Red side, became a superintendent at 32, and is destined to rise to the top of the police force. He watches in silence as his first, second, and third subordinates take turns testing his secret identity, probing him, and baring their teeth at it, looking just like that grandpa-on-the-subway-staring-at-his-phone meme.
Is this my fault, or are you all just too good at making things up?
But never mind. A mature, excellent older man won’t mind the snarling of an injured police dog or wary stray cats.
*The Incident Book
This is a mysterious book that records every incident its owner experiences and assigns incident points according to the owner's level of involvement.
Note that once the owner's incident points reach a certain level, the Recalling Pen that goes with the book will appear.
The owner can spend incident points to add or delete words in the Incident Book, thereby changing reality.
Note that each incident can only be changed once. Changes cannot be reversed or altered. If the modified story doesn't make sense, the Incident Book will automatically optimize it.
Note: It calls its owner "Observer." So, honored Observer, what are you observing?
*No romance. Dating is a no-go. A mature career-focused person doesn't need romance.
*I want to try writing a protagonist who's truly high-ranking on the Red side. Xiao Zong from my last novel was on the Black side, after all, so I wanted to try a real Red-side character.
*I'm terrible at writing blurbs, so that's that. Anyway, everyone can tell from the Incident Book setup who the story is meant to save. Lie flat in peace.jpg
Theme: No one's life is a puppet show, and all evil will eventually come back to haunt its perpetrators.
