Found a Furry Collar

Synopsis:

On the day of the Cheng King's hunting expedition, he found a chubby, fluffy little fox fast asleep at the entrance to a cave, curled around its own bushy tail.

The Cheng King grinned. "Hey, a brand-new fur collar for this year."

While the emperor and his several older brothers weren't paying attention, the Cheng King secretly slipped the little fox into his sleeve and returned to his manor as if nothing had happened.

Fox: ???

As the year drew to a close, the Cheng King was sharpening his knife in anticipation of making that fur collar when he discovered the fox was getting ready to go home for the New Year, too!

WTF!

Little Fox: "Get lost! I wanna go home! (#‵′)"

Looking at the pretty young woman glaring at him warily, the Cheng King decided to sweet-talk her into returning to his manor first, then figure out the rest later...
