Zhuang Mingyin downloads a pet-raising app, where there’s a little black cat with a bit of a temper. She feeds the cat at the same time every day and makes time to soothe the somewhat irritable little black cat. The app might have a hidden storyline. Whenever she opens it, she sees her cat master covered in wounds, curled up in its nest looking lonely and pitiful. Has someone been beating up my cat? Not on my watch! Zhuang Mingyin starts spending money on quests to earn points. She’s determined to unlock the story and fight back, full of righteous anger. At last, the day comes when she can unlock the story. I’ll smash your skull with one swipe. From then on, food and supplies start appearing around him, along with a strange little nest that’s warm and comfortable. The black cat endures having his fur stroked by that person, recuperates, then returns with his army to take back what was lost. After winning and returning injured, he hears that gentle, lovely voice rambling as she treats him: “Why did my baby get hurt again today?” The black cat raises a paw and hides his face. On a peaceful evening, a zombie virus suddenly breaks out. A voice comes from the television in the empty house: “This new zombie virus spreads through blood and only infects humans...” Humans begin fighting for survival. After observing the humans’ strange behavior for a while, Jindou, a stray cat in the neighborhood, realizes that people have stopped cooking and taking out the trash, and no longer stop to feed the stray kittens. The cats begin to understand that the situation may be serious. Jindou calls on everyone to take action instead of just waiting for disaster to strike. So, as the surviving humans fight the zombies with weapons to get into the mall and take supplies, they see a well-organized group of stray cats and dogs walk right past both zombies and humans, carrying all kinds of cat and dog food out of the mall. When humans break into homes in the neighborhood to search for supplies, they come face-to-face with a cat hanging from a window. They then discover that the house cat has already packed up its cat food and freeze-dried treats, and is making a swift escape with help from the outdoor cats. The roads, university cafeterias, dorms, and apartment buildings are all full of little animals. The Cat Brigade rises rapidly, and little Jindou thrives in its ranks, even becoming its captain. Once the surviving humans have grown used to seeing cats everywhere, they discover that the cats are heading straight for the zoo. Oh no, the cats are going to liberate the zoo!
