The Scheming Princess Consort's Rise to Power

Every day, the emperor has to listen as his solemn-faced Minister of Justice reports on his beloved daughter:

"Your Majesty, the princess's conduct with the Chen family's young master is truly unacceptable..."

"Your Majesty, the princess is a paragon of noble young women in this dynasty. She must not openly summon the Song family's young master to the Imperial Ancestral Temple to question him and flirt with him..."

"Your Majesty, the princess is still young. She should not be engaged so early..."

"Your Majesty..."

Whenever the emperor sees Lord Mei's deeply furrowed brow, his heart aches. Seeing how concerned the Minister of Justice is about his daughter, he always thinks of giving him a position as head steward in one of the princess's palaces. But after some time, the whole situation suddenly changes:

"Your Majesty, the princess is naturally pure and sweet. I have fallen for her, and beg Your Majesty to grant my wish."

The emperor: Grant it? Ha.
