The Green Tea Guide Doesn't Want to Work Today

The ghosts you fear are the people someone else longs for day and night. - Ghost Whisperer

Veteran sentinel Ming Qianshu carries out her comrade's dying wish and seeks out You Guansheng, a guide who specializes in arranging introductions for the dead.

Rumor has it You Guansheng is the ultimate flirt among guides. When living people ask her to find them a match, their prospective partners are drawn to her because of her powerful pheromones.

Finding work in the Tower too difficult, You Guansheng left and started a funeral services business, while also playing matchmaker for single ghosts.

After knocking over a few paper figures, Ming Qianshu said, "A friend of mine wants to ask you for a favor. Please help her and her fiancee have their wedding."

You Guansheng glanced at her friend and made as if to close the door. "I only do business with the dead."

Ming Qianshu took out a death certificate. "They're already dead."

You Guansheng sneered. "But her so-called fiancee isn't dead yet."

--

You Guansheng, who had been killed by her fiancee in her previous life, was reborn in her own funeral shroud shop.

She never expected the first customer of the new year to be her wretched fiancee and her love rival.

Her spirit companion, Juan Bao: "Shengsheng, this is a big client. You can't afford to offend them."

You Guansheng replied lazily, "Can't I just take the day off? Just kidding. If I take this job, neither of us will make it out alive."

Afterward, the shroud shop lost its big client and business entered a deep freeze.

Ming Qianshu came knocking again, this time with her whole family in tow.

You Guansheng hurried to block the door. "Back, back, back!"

Ming Qianshu said earnestly, "I haven't found a suitable job since leaving the military. I hope Boss You will consider hiring me."

"Besides having exceptionally sharp senses, what else can you do?"

"Communicate with ghosts, do laundry and cook, repair furniture, make paper figures, play the suona, do beauty and hair treatments..."

"You're hired!"

A sincere, down-to-earth veteran sentinel seeking a new job x a guide who only wants to slack off and loves making random matches

Not a very orthodox sentinel-guide story

Lots of melodrama. Bring a trash can (crossed out)

The plot follows a series-of-the-week format

The whole thing is made up as I go
