After the Female Lead's Beauty Mark Came to Life

I was born from the first tear shed by a woman named Qian Sui. For millions of years, I watched her nourish me with her tears, until I became a teardrop-shaped birthmark, a mark of reincarnation. Becoming a vessel for humanity to vent its scattered love, hate, and heartache was nothing great. In the author's story, my master died once again for a love that wasn't worth a thing. Someone wiped the teardrop from her face, as if that ending had to happen every time.

My master seemed to enjoy pretending she didn't know the author existed, tirelessly playing out the story.

And this time, she died at the hands of her white moonlight.

Her gaze held no resentment or regret.

Not a tear fell.

And then

I became a spirit.

By Feng Tong's ramblings.

After becoming a spirit, Feng Tong works with the author's assignments, helping other heroines along.

As the number of times he helps them grows,

in a certain moment, he finds Qian Sui.

The person who had been with him for millions of years.

The feelings he once dismissed as worthless had come from Qian Sui, too.

He knows this is something he can never afford to lose.

Qian Sui looks at her reflection in the River of Tears and says, "For my last task, I want to decide for myself."

The reflection asks her, "What is it?"

Qian Sui smiles. "See him a billion more times."

The reflection says, "Fine. I can't stand you lovesick couples."

They could spend ten thousand years together, day and night, and never get tired of each other.

Most of the story is told from the male lead's perspective (I usually use this POV to practice switching styles and genres).

If you need to avoid any potentially upsetting content, grab your milk tea, ice cream, and late-night snacks, and make a quick exit.

Please read civilly. May you, her, him, it, them, and I all be well.

Theme: Tears of joy and sorrow, of parting and reunion, all have meaning.
