The Cook Is Not Happy

The bonus chapters have been updated. Please visit my profile and find "Bonus Chapter Collection". It includes the bonus chapters for The Cook. After the Shen family fell into decline, they opened a small restaurant in the county town and settled into a leisurely life. Shen Rong, the cook, always cherished the dream of restoring her family's fortunes. That was until she rescued a handsome, fair-skinned man who had lost his memory. Before long, he returned to her, claiming to be Prince Ye, who had carved out his own territory and amassed an army. Then Prince Ye declared that he would marry no one but her. "Give me your people. Forget restoring the Shen family, if you want the moon in the sky, I'll pluck it down for you." A 1v1 transmigration romcom with a sweet, silly tone. There's some melodrama, but no angst. A lively heroine vs. a cunning, adorable, cheeky, devoted puppy of a hero. The heroine isn't overpowered. Set in an imaginary historical world, so no fact-checking, no leaderboard scraping, and absolutely no trolling or personal attacks.
