From Amaterasu-in Naraku

◇◆Blurb◆◇ “The Nue: Legend has it that those it deems evil will meet a gruesome death, while those it deems good will enjoy its protection for the rest of their lives.” The Nue bird, raised by Xu from the very beginning, judges good and evil by the Tenchoin's code. Her duty is not assassination, but execution: putting traitors to death. However, everything changed the day Xu disappeared from the Tenchoin. “...There are things you must not hear, and people you must not meet. Because... they seem to possess a natural power to bewitch you, making you develop thoughts you shouldn't have, and changing the course of your life.” “You mean... Yoshida Shoyo?” “No, I mean... Tamaki Fuminosuke.” A story about how a monster becomes human and saves another monster, and falls in love along the way. ◇◆Reading Notes◆◇ 1. Contains original elements. Everyone gets a happy ending, and the original story will definitely get face-slapped. 2. The heroine's combat ability is MAX. Aside from Shoyo-sensei, she's at the top of the private school's food chain. 3. I'm no good at witty banter or serious drama... The writing style is probably a mix of both. Theme: Saving oneself and finding closure for past regrets.
