I Refuse to Work for My Heartless Boss Anymore

During a spaceflight mission, Honglian is ambushed and suffers a head injury. When she comes to, she has lost her memory. She still remembers her name and her past, but has forgotten where she worked before losing her memory.

Having lost her job along with her memory, Honglian has no choice but to turn to her long-uncontacted relatives on Earth.

After a series of painful experiences, including working for the Odd Jobs crew and nearly having Gintoki pocket her wages to play pachinko, joining Katsura in the Joi rebellion and getting stuck indefinitely in a garbage can full of slop, helping Takasugi organize terrorist activities and nearly getting hunted down across the whole internet, and being conned by Tatsuma into doing business only to lose every last cent, Honglian finally comes to her senses: her relatives are either downright vicious or completely hopeless, and when it comes down to it, you can only rely on yourself.

While looking for part-time work on Earth after losing her job, Honglian keeps running into a young Yato who claims to be a space pirate. They're the same age and from the same clan, but the first time she sees him, his aura reminds her of a ghost lurking in a stairwell, and she instinctively punches him.

Later, after stumbling into all sorts of situations with him, Honglian accidentally discovers that Kamui was actually her direct superior before she lost her memory:

"...Well, well, Kamui. You didn't even file for medical insurance or workers' compensation for your amnesiac subordinate, and you had me working for you for ages without paying my social insurance or housing fund. I'm going to take you down, you unscrupulous slave driver!"

A new, melodramatic amnesia plot! Planning to start in spring of the new year. Happy New Year's Day and New Year to everyone!

[Bungo Stray Dogs crossover] After Joining the Port Mafia, I Have to Fish My Boss Out of the River Every Day

After Bai Yan joins the Port Mafia, the boss entrusts her with a supposedly important job that never comes with a raise:

Jump into the rivers and lakes near the workplace to fish out her superior, Dazai Osamu, who randomly throws himself in depending on his mood.

Since Dazai throws himself into the river far too often, and it almost always conflicts with Bai Yan's other work duties, she decides to use the standard modern workplace tactic of dangling a carrot to handle her boss:

"Mr. Dazai, please get down from the roof and sign this document first. When I have time, I'll definitely go river jumping with you."

After Dazai signs, Bai Yan takes the document back and finds that he has crossed out the title of the work document she had already signed and changed it to "Consent Form to Die in Love with Dazai Osamu." Beside her signature, he has added a line in tiny writing:

Choose your preferred method of dying in love. Thanks for cooperating.

After ten years of being bullied by her unscrupulous boss, Honglian decides to quit on her own and go back to her old Joi comrades, the Joy4.

Joy1 Tatsuma: (He hasn't even remembered the female lead's name.) Hey, Cuilian, you sure have fallen off after ten years!

Joy2 Shinsuke Takasugi (imposter): Honglian, will you join me and become a dark god of destruction? Come with me and destroy... the Edo Youth Protection Ordinance, ooooooh!

Joy3 Kotaro Katsura: Let's start the movement to overthrow the shogunate by bombing the Shinsengumi!

Joy4 Gintoki Sakata: Get a job, Honglian! Pay off your debts to the Harusame and the ones I owe the pachinko parlor!

Former unscrupulous boss Kamui: (smiling) Are you talking about me when you say "crazy boss," Honglian? Go on, insult me!
