Timid, sharp-tongued, overacting subordinate x chuunibyou, mad, sadistic boss Full text costs 3 yuan. Writing is hard, so thanks for supporting the official release. [Blurb] Life is a play, and it all comes down to acting. It's my seventeenth year working as a lackey for space pirates. My pay never goes up, there's a mountain of crap to deal with, and I can't escape. The only consolation is my boss's baby face, so young you could squeeze water out of it. At the bar, Ayaka bursts into tears. “Avut-senpai, I've worked my tail off for the gang all these years. I've cooked the books to cover our expenses, stayed up all night writing reports to look after those little brats when they got hurt. I've been a babysitter and a bookkeeper. What was it all for? His cowlick, his stomach big enough to hold the whole universe, and his height of 170 centimeters with which he goes around declaring war on everyone?” The more she talks, the more aggrieved she gets. Ayaka storms out, declaring that if her pay doesn't go up next month, she'll smash that little brat with the cowlick's head in. Avut hesitates, then says nothing. Whose pocket did the reimbursed money end up in? Were you staying up all night to care for the injured or to play games? How many times have you lined your own pockets without getting in trouble? You know the answer, don't you? The next day, at a table piled high with dishes. “I can give you a raise~” Kamui, the person in question, replies cheerfully, one cheek puffed out. Caught off guard by the pleasant surprise, Ayaka freezes. “Huh?” That's it? “However...” Ayaka is overwhelmed with gratitude, a whole string of compliments on the tip of her tongue. Kamui's cowlick twitches. Smiling, he asks, “Who’s this unscrupulous boss with a cowlick, a stomach big enough for the whole universe, and a habit of declaring war on everyone?” Ayaka: “...” “Or maybe...” His azure eyes are perfectly innocent as Kamui waves the bamboo chopsticks that are about to become a weapon. “If you don't get a raise this month, are you going to smash my head in?” Ayaka: “...” He's going to kill me.
