The Lone Axe on the Cold River

In the final years of the Great Jing dynasty, the imperial court crumbled and warlords rose across the land. The Yuntai Sect, hailed as the foremost sect in the martial world, wielded authority over the jianghu, committing all manner of hypocrisy in the name of vanquishing evil and defending the righteous.

Young Shen Yan, the sole survivor of the massacre of his village in Hanjiang, carried a deep blood feud. After learning the Hanjiang Yue technique from his master, he returned to his homeland. Amid snow and wind at a ferry crossing, he encountered disciples of the Yuntai Sect. "If the righteous path is wicked, then I'll set it right," he declared, stirring up turmoil throughout the jianghu.

Everyone said the Jinye Sect was an evil sect guilty of every crime, but You Li, the last heir of Jinye, concealed a truth buried by the martial world. A lone youth carrying a battle axe, fated to bear the burdens of both righteousness and evil, tears away the polished mask of the prestigious sects. The greatest heroes aren't defined by their sect's name, but by the justice in their hearts. In this chaotic jianghu, watch as a Hanjiang Yue axe exposes the world's hypocrisy and finds a path of chivalry of its own.

Theme: Righteousness and evil are not defined by sects. A chivalrous heart is all that matters.
