Ali's Story

On the Ngari Plateau, Mount Kailash stands quietly. Tenzin, a herdsman, has guarded this land for generations. He took over the yak team from his father and walked on the long ancient mountain trail, hoping to complete the promise of a hundred laps around the mountain that his father failed to complete. Razhen, a female doctor from Lhasa, is stationed at the Talqin Health Station and travels around nomadic areas on a motorcycle to protect the health of people on the plateau. Old grandmother Quni guarded the prayer wheel and watched groups of pilgrims rushing to the sacred mountain. The wind and snow are unpredictable on the road to the mountain, and the wind and cold wind are biting at the Zhuomala Pass. Pilgrims rush thousands of miles, some are full of prayers, and some are burdened with worries. On the long journey to the mountains, wind and snow, illness, life and death encountered each other one by one. Tenzin protects the pedestrians and yaks on the road, Razhen fights against the plateau sickness, and everyone is looking for answers in their hearts under the gaze of the sacred mountain. This is a story that takes place at the foot of Mount Ali, hiding the faith, tenderness and endless vitality of the plateau. Mission: Faith and life, perseverance and encounter on the plateau
