The Sound of Books at the Ancient Ferry

Young Wang Ying accidentally wanders into an old bookstore deep in the old street and meets Granny Su, who watches over a room full of yellowing books. The two travel together to Linjiang's ancient ferry crossing, forgotten by the world, to watch the great river flow and the old locust tree stand firm. Through the seasons, from summer weeds and autumn reeds along the river to migrating geese and wild ducks among the rushes, they gradually uncover the stories hidden in this land. The ancient ferry was once crowded with countless ships, but now it has fallen silent. Pebbles on the riverbank, colorful leaves covering the hills, old books repaired page by page, and an old photograph tucked into a poetry collection all hold the journeys and long waits of a generation. There is no need to seek out busy places. Quiet your mind, and you can hear the river and the years speaking softly. This is a gentle story about reading, traveling, and encountering all things. Theme: Between old memories and the sights of mountains and rivers, come to understand life's meetings and partings, and quietly appreciate the beauty of the changing seasons.
