Chronicles of a Young Taoist in an Infinite-Flow World

Lin Yan, an ordinary boy, lost both his parents when he was young and was raised by his mortal relatives. He always thought he was just an unsociable, ordinary person. At eleven, an invitation on a jade tablet from Yunxiu Academy disrupted his quiet life. He learned that the world held practitioners of mystic arts, talismans, and sword-riding cultivators who could fly through the sky.

Yunxiu Academy is a school of mystic arts with a thousand years of history, where each of its four branches excels in different fields. Lin Yan enters its mountain gates and befriends Su Qinghe, a clever diviner, and Zhou Leyao, blessed with extraordinary good fortune. Together, the three cultivate their skills, studying formations and the stars, and vanquishing evil spirits.

The ancient fallen immortal Zhuoyuan was sealed away for ten thousand years. Seven fragments of the Spirit Abyss were scattered across the mortal world, demonic energy was quietly rising again, and undercurrents stirred within the mystic sects. As the young disciples trained and grew, they also tracked demonic traces, repeatedly crossing paths with demonic followers. A prophecy of the Heavenly Dao fell upon Lin Yan. He bore a one-of-a-kind spirit mark and was the only one who could stop Zhuoyuan from destroying the world.

The road ahead is filled with sacrifice and difficult choices. When the ultimate truth is revealed, the boy will have to pay an unimaginable price to protect the world's peace. Thus begins an epic tale of a boy giving his life to uphold the Dao.
