Owls Are Born to Play Volleyball

After the battle on the Infinity Train, Kyojuro Rengoku's soul embarked on a new journey.

This time, he was born in a peaceful era, with no breathing styles, no Demon Slayer Corps, and no man-eating demons.

Waiting for him were a mature and dependable father, a kind and healthy mother, and an adorable, lively younger brother.

In his previous life, Kyojuro Rengoku spent every day thinking about how he could save more people.

In this life, his biggest daily concern is, "What should I eat for lunch?"

Oh, and now there's one more thing...

How to tactfully persuade Bokuto, the senior on the volleyball team, to stop asking him silly questions like, "Rengoku, what's your dad's last name?"

*

A super "special" new student has joined the Fukurodani volleyball team:

He's 177 centimeters tall, has hair like leaping flames, and big, bright eyes. He looks every bit like a "big bro."

And just based on appearances...

He and Kotaro Bokuto look like two different species of owl!

This has led Bokuto to believe the other boy might be his long-lost brother, born to different parents.

The first thing he asks Rengoku Kyojuro every day is:

"Are you sure your dad's last name isn't Bokuto?"

"Are you sure you don't have an older brother named Kotaro Bokuto?"

Kyojuro Rengoku: "..."

Mmm! Somehow, dealing with Senior Bokuto seems harder than fighting demons!

During one match, Bokuto slips into "negative mode" early.

The opposing team seizes the chance and launches a fierce attack.

With the team on the verge of losing the set, the new junior turns the tide and leads them in holding on until Bokuto recovers.

The third-years who witnessed the whole thing are thoroughly impressed, and from then on, they all call him the same thing.

Komimi: Big bro!

Sarukui: Big bro!

Konoha: Big bro!

Washio: ...Big bro?

Bokuto: BIG BRO!!!!!

Keiji Akaashi: ...Aren't you the seniors here?

Keiji Akaashi: And Senior Bokuto just recovered. Don't join in on the silliness!
