My Childhood Sweetheart General Is Possessive and Competitive Again

Song Yu saw Wei Shen again on her way back from praying for her husband outside the city.

Her carriage got stuck in the mud, forcing her to wait beneath a tree.

Dust swirled in the distance. A figure appeared in the slanting sunlight, still looking as he had in her memories, except the youthful arrogance and sharpness had vanished from his face.

As she hesitated, he came to a halt before her, astride a tall horse, and held out his hand. "Your Highness, I came too late."

Remembering the rumors she'd heard recently, Song Yu instinctively stepped back, alarm in her eyes.

The instant she finished speaking, the light in Wei Shen's bright eyes dimmed, leaving them utterly lifeless.

Song Yu clutched her chest as she climbed into the carriage. She thought: When Wei Shen's whole family was exiled and she married someone else, there was no possibility of them ever being together again.

She'd thought she and Wei Shen would never cross paths again, but she never expected him to come and take her.

In the middle of the night, while she slept, she was abducted, bedding and all.

Her husband was searching all over the capital for her, while she was locked behind layers of gauzy curtains in Wei Shen's residence, with no sense of day or night.

As they lay close together, Song Yu's chin was lifted. She met the man's intensely possessive gaze, and heard his hoarse voice: "Between me and your husband, which of us pleases you more?"

Song Yu's cheeks burned. She bit her moist red lip and looked away, unwilling to answer.

But Wei Shen wouldn't let it go. He clung to her, refusing to stop. "Your Highness... between me and your husband, which of us is..."

Song Yu reached out and covered his mouth, her words muffled. "There... there's no one else."

Before she could finish, he swept her back into an endless current of pleasure.
