A Cliche Romance About Chasing Your Husband to the Crematorium

Young Uncle 1

Gu Liangxian had a friend who confessed to his young uncle, Pei Siyan.

But Pei Siyan turned him down.

Worst of all, Gu Liangxian had promised his friend that if he gave Pei Siyan his name, Pei Siyan wouldn't refuse.

He never expected Pei Siyan to be so heartless. After his friend gave his name, Pei Siyan even told him to pass along this message: "A matchmaker can't be a man."

Humiliated, Gu Liangxian narrowed his eyes, comforted his friend a couple of times, then made a promise: "Come on, don't cry. I'll get him for you, then make him kneel down and give you the wedding night you deserve, all right?"

His friend sniffled. "Isn't he your young uncle?"

Gu Liangxian scoffed dismissively. "He's just some bastard we picked up on the roadside. What's wrong with having a little fun?"

The plan went ahead as expected. In the second month after he and his lover made things official, he let his flirtatious partner taunt Pei Siyan by sending him a message.

He watched Pei Siyan lose control like this for the first time, then listened to his tired, bewildered question. Softly, he said, "Young Uncle, I don't think you've understood one thing."

"I told you I love you, but I never said I wouldn't fall for someone else, did I?"

In an instant, the private room fell utterly silent.

Pei Siyan looked up at him. After a long moment, he suddenly laughed. He lowered his eyelids and, rather than beg Gu Liangxian to stay as Gu Liangxian had expected, calmly declared their relationship over.

"All right."

"I respect every choice you make. But from now on, you go your way and I'll go mine. We have nothing to do with each other."

"Gu Liangxian, please don't ever appear in front of me again."
