The CP I Ship Turns Out to Be Me

I've shipped my father and the Princess Consort of Huaiyang for ten years.

Yuan Ming called me blind, so I told him his father had been cuckolded.

Then the Princess Consort of Huaiyang pressed a fist-sized luminous pearl into my hand. "Yuan Ming spent three years dredging Huaiyang Lake for this. He said he wanted to give it to his future wife."

The pearl was cold, but it burned in my palm.

Father smiled and asked, "Jing'an, what do you think of Yuan Ming?"

I looked at Yuan Ming's bright-red ears and suddenly realized:

Was the couple I'd been shipping actually me and him?
