Free Fried Rice Noodles

I went downstairs to buy some snacks and accidentally ran into my childhood friend and ex-boyfriend.

I was wearing fluffy slippers and pajamas, while he had an apron tied around his waist and a spatula in his hand. Grinning at me, he said,

“Ming Yi, I've moved to Yangcheng too. Now we don't have to be apart anymore.”

I looked at him coldly. “I came for barbecue rice. I'm not interested in fried noodles.”

I turned and walked away, while Cheng Hui chased after me on his tricycle.

“Ming Yi, you used to love fried noodles when you were a kid.”

Did I?

The Ming Yi who loved fried noodles disappeared during the summer vacation before senior year.
