Don't Become a Beta's Plaything

After the war against the insectoid race came to an end, Colonel Li Du, hailed as the "Star of the Empire," finally got his first vacation.

Officially, he was recuperating from injuries, but his wounds were barely worth mentioning.

As a soldier, his body bore far too many scars worthy of medals.

And as a beta, Li Du was naturally immune to the control of pheromones.

Even if a 3S-level alpha went into a frenzy and rut right in front of him, Li Du could calmly stop the guards, evacuate the crowd, and then knock the alpha flat with one punch.

Only then would he hand over a suppressant and gently tell them, "Don't stop taking your medication."

The other person would always stare blankly at the suppressant swaying before their eyes.

What beasts they were, controlled by pheromones.

Li Du thought this coldly, without a trace of feeling.

Until the day the military held a special meeting. Li Du sat casually in the chair at the head of the table, relaying orders from above, in front of nearly every eligible S-rank and higher alpha in the empire.

He presented as an omega.

No one understood why. No one knew why twenty-eight-year-old Li Du would present as an omega at a time like this. And no one could look away.

"Good thing he didn't present on the battlefield."

That was what every alpha in the room was thinking.
