The Little Asian Kid in American Horror Movies Who Bewitched a Vengeful Ghost

Shui Ci was selected by the System and became a cannon-fodder character in classic American horror movies. As long as he survived until the plot ended, he could return to the normal world.

World One: Derry

Shui Ci dutifully played the role of a handsome, cool Asian senior and did everything he could to avoid Pennywise. But Pennywise was everywhere: in the bathroom mirror, outside the classroom window, on the auditorium stage... All the while, the protagonist's unspeakable fantasies about him played on repeat.

Late at night, gloom shrouded the house. His body felt heavy, as if something massive were pressing down on him. In his dream, he appeared in a damp sewer, where a clown held a red balloon and licked his blood-red lips again and again.

When the younger movie protagonist he was close to was taken hostage by the clown, Shui Ci overcame his fear and boldly said, "Please eat me... Let him go!"

The clown let out an evil giggle. "Sweetheart, how could I bear to?"

He revealed a mouthful of terrifying, fine-pointed teeth. His tongue stretched out like the slimy forked tongue of a snake, and without warning, he lunged to bite Shui Ci's snow-white neck.

So even when it didn't feed on fear, it could still taste delicious.

World Two: The Killing Road

A pair of brothers traveling together used sweet, fake-girl voices to deceive the unsuspecting man on the other end of the call, saying nonchalantly, "Just a joke."

Unable to bear it, Shui Ci shakily exposed their lie. "Mr. Rusty Nail, we're both boys."

The man laughed in a deep, magnetic voice, like an ocean current far below the sea. "I think your voice is sweeter than the last girl's. Give me a room number?"

One brother roughly shoved Shui Ci aside. "Hey man, Motel Room 17. You'll hear the boy you like panting. Hahahaha!"

At the motel, on a bloody night, the brothers took Shui Ci and raced down the highway at midnight, only to be forced to a sudden stop by a huge truck.

The man's towering figure completely overshadowed Shui Ci, and he reeked of blood like a butcher. "Are you the sweet thing who called me?"

He swept the pale, beautiful boy into his arms and carried him to the huge truck, which was filled with beautiful dresses prepared for his sweetheart.

World Three: The Handsome Male Escort

Shui Ci pulled open the curtains and saw a pale ghostly figure. Terrified, he shut them again, locked every door and window, and told his friend Laurie that Haddonfield had become dangerous lately. She had to remember to lock the door and stay inside at night.

On Halloween night, Shui Ci hid under the covers and tried to lull himself to sleep.

In the middle of the night, he woke from a nightmare in a cold sweat. There was nothing on the ceiling, and he sighed with relief. But when he turned around, a shadow suddenly pressed close to his face.

The white mask smelled of cheap plastic, stinging his nose and even seeming to reach his bones. The blue coveralls were stained a dark red with blood.

Michael raised a small knife and slashed Shui Ci's pajamas.

World Four: Crystal Lake

Shui Ci was the only Asian employee at a convenience store in the Crystal Lake woods. One day, he received a call asking him to deliver supplies to a spot at the edge of the forest.

When he arrived, a man covered in blood knocked on the car window and begged him to drive him away.

Shui Ci slammed his foot on the gas, but the car hit a man wearing a hockey-stick mask. The man was completely unmoved and dragged the blood-soaked man away.

Shui Ci witnessed the brutal violence and drove off again, only to become a caged bird himself, taken by Jason to a dilapidated cabin in the woods.

Every Friday, he could go with Jason to refuel the car and buy daily necessities. A former coworker from the convenience store even remarked, "You have a very nice boyfriend."

But Shui Ci could feel the rough hands covering the back of his neck and his spine, and the inhumanly cold temperature radiating from the towering body. He knew full well: he had become a caged canary, kept captive with no way to escape.
