The Immortal Venerable Descended the Spirit Mountain for Me

Shen Zongyi, the foremost disciple of Lingshan, was a heaven-blessed prodigy, full of confidence and ambition.

With his own strength, he trounced all the academy's other geniuses, making everyone grind their teeth in frustration.

At sixteen, he went down to the mortal world for the first time and caused utter chaos. The demonic and wicked, as well as the righteous and proper, were all nearly driven mad by him.

Not long afterward, he returned to Lingshan and found his master, brimming with confidence as he declared,

"Master, I'm going to save the people of the world."

The man in white glanced at him. "When will you be back?"

Shen Zongyi: "I'll be right back."

The man in white: "All right."

That trip lasted nineteen years.

When Shen Zongyi woke again, his memories were still stuck in his youth. He immediately gathered his friends, eager to go down the mountain and save the world.

Only, something seemed off about the people around him.

Especially his master.

The man in white had never once left Lingshan. The only time he did was to collect the body of his disciple, who had insisted on saving the world.

After that, he sat alone on Lingshan, keeping watch over a corpse that could neither speak nor smile, for sixteen long years.
