Three Years as a Layabout, Five Years as a Tyrant

In his previous life, Xie Hui mistook Shou for a member of the imperial family who had been lost among the common people. Shou went from a refugee to a prince in an instant, and he was delighted.

He happily made Xie Hui his Imperial Tutor and diligently learned how to be a good prince and emperor.

But what awaited him was the revelation of his true identity and a cup of poisoned wine.

As he died, Shou saw Xie Hui's calm, unruffled expression and understood.

What Xie Hui wanted was an easily controlled puppet, not a good emperor.

After being reborn, Shou smiled and took Xie Hui's offered hand without hesitation.

And so began his outrageous, uninhibited life as a prince...

Chasing chickens and hounds, taking wives and concubines, abducting handsome men...

He did whatever he pleased, no matter how outrageous.

Shou lounged in a rattan chair, gazing at the handsome men filling the courtyard. A hand reached toward him, and he opened his mouth, ready to take a grape.

Xie Hui's calm voice came from above him. "Your Highness, skipping class again?"

Shou looked up at him with a beaming smile. "With you as my Imperial Tutor, why should I go to class?"

He pulled out a pile of assignments and stuffed them into Xie Hui's arms. "I'll leave them to you, Imperial Tutor."

Xie Hui: "..."

This boy is cunning. He's surely pretending to be a fool so he can catch a tiger off guard.

He took the assignments, thinking coldly that if Shou wanted to play the useless fool, then he would raise him to be one.

Years later.

Xie Hui took the memorial and thought coldly, since His Majesty intends to play the fool, then he would...

He glanced again at Shou, lounging in leisure. Xie Hui, who had spent ten years working like an ox and a horse, fell into deep thought.

Shou was comfortably sprawled out when someone suddenly appeared beside his bed. He lazily opened his eyes and exclaimed in surprise, "Imperial Tutor?!"

Xie Hui leisurely caressed him, experiencing for the first time the benefits of being a laid-back loafer.

A real overachiever in his previous life, now a laid-back fake prince shou x cool, scheming Imperial Tutor

Both are reborn
