When I Became the Terror Island's Most Popular

[Former hardcore gamer, now a weak and beautiful bottom x Top fighter on Horror Island, an older man]

Luo An had always thought survival games were pretty relaxing.

As long as he could keep grinding, he could carve out a world of his own.

Until one day, he and a bunch of other unlucky players tumbled into "Horror Island" like dumplings dropped into a pot.

Insects had grown gigantic, plants ate people, and seven eerie cities loomed in the darkness. They said the only clue to getting home was hidden inside them.

Weak-as-can-be Luo An watched the players around him screaming in terror and fell silent for three seconds.

The map, the architecture, the boss placement...

Why did it all look exactly like that obscure base-building game he'd spent three years grinding and twenty thousand yuan paying to play?

Other people awakened special abilities: fireballs, lightning, stealth.

Luo An awakened the ability to open the construction menu.

Other people ran for their lives: "The boss is here! Run!"

Luo An stood still. "Why does this three-headed snake look so much like the demolition team leader on my island?"

The three-headed snake stopped, all three heads tilting to one side at once.

The next second, it carefully curled its tail around Luo An and set him on its back.

Luo An: ?

Later, the bosses of Horror Island started competing to outdo one another.

The goat carried Luo An around his territory every day, the octopus built him an underwater palace, and the wyvern personally brought him ore to expand the city.

The other players: ??? You can play the game like this?

Luo An: Base-building is all about grinding. Though the workforce this time is a little too enthusiastic.

Then one day, the ruler of the seven cities, the Lord of Horror Island who had never shown his face, finally appeared before him.

"I hear," the man said in a low voice, pinning him against the newly built city wall, "you tore down my home and rebuilt it as your own?"

Luo An looked at the familiar face, the man who had always sat on a throne in the game and whom he'd spent the most money on. He stammered,

"Uh, what if I said I was just here to renovate your place? Would you believe me?"

About how I paid to get the bosses.

And how I turned Horror Island into a cozy home is another story entirely.

Theme: Base-building is everything! Long live base-building!
