*Fake brooding creep vs. genuinely cold and gloomy
You Hua had lived an incredibly happy life for eighteen years. Then she got bound to a System and learned that she was living inside a harem novel.
[You are the gloomy supporting character in The Perfect Harem Protagonist Script. Because you have a crush on the protagonist, Pei Shulin, you spy on him, stalk him, and will do anything to get your way.]
You Hua: ?
She thought about everything she had: a wealthy family, a crowd of friends, excellent grades, and a sunny personality.
You Hua: A scheming, gloomy supporting character? Me?
Anyway, she was already bound to the System. If she didn't complete the tasks, she'd die.
Unwilling to give up her happy life, You Hua was forced to follow the original plot as the System instructed.
[Plot 1: Send Pei Shulin an anonymous text.]
To get the task over with, You Hua copied and pasted “I really like you” and “You're so cute” a hundred times without a shred of sincerity, then dumped them all into Pei Shulin's chat.
Just as expected, Pei Shulin received the messages and, exactly as in the book, blocked her without mercy.
[Plot 2: Collect items Pei Shulin has used.]
After steeling herself, You Hua fished Pei Shulin's scrap paper out of the classroom wastebasket, only to get caught by her best friend.
You Hua laughed it off, saying she'd admired Pei Shulin for ages and wanted to study the genius's thought process before exams.
Her friend grabbed her and pulled her outside. “I just saw the genius walk by. Let's go pay our respects right now.”
You Hua: ...Wait.
[Plot 3: Follow Pei Shulin home.]
You Hua tripped her way down an alley and finally managed to tail him to the Pei residence. Hiding in a dim stairwell, she followed the System's instructions and texted Pei Shulin.
-X: I followed Baby home. Baby is so unguarded.
Two seconds later, Pei Shulin replied.
-PEI: If you sprained your ankle, go home and ice it.
You Hua and the System stared at each other.
After briefly reporting what happened, the System coughed and announced that the plot tasks were over. She could go back to enjoying her life.
You Hua quickly deleted the anonymous texting app, threw away the scrap paper she'd collected, and got her life back on track.

A few months later, at the graduation party where everyone danced in each other's arms, You Hua, who had long since forgotten about the supporting-character System, received a text.
She opened it without thinking.
-PEI: You barged into my life and turned everything upside down, and now you think you can just have your fun and run away.
-PEI: Did I agree to that, Miss You?
/Everything she does is carried out without harming the protagonist.
Theme: Study hard and focus on yourself
