[Gold Medalist] On My Senior Being the Sunny Type

Six years later, Tsukimi Sara runs into her senior after work.

Her senior never managed to join an ice dance troupe and instead became a skating coach.

Tsukimi Sara had thought her senior had given up on her dream, but she hadn't. Whenever she talked about skating, she still seemed to glow just as brightly as ever.

How wonderful. Unlike her... She has been completely tainted by the adult world, as if she has gone moldy. She has long forgotten what it feels like to move forward with a dream in her heart.

But it must be wonderful.

Her senior says nothing, only asks earnestly, "Sara, would you like to come watch my student compete?"

*

A few years ago, Tsukimi Sara had watched performances on the ice, too.

To help her senior make costumes for ice shows, she watched countless figure skating performances. Every skater had a dream and the determination to compete on the ice.

Back then, she had a dream of her own: to become a fashion designer.

But dreams can be cruel.

Six years later, Tsukimi Sara returns to watch a performance in person, and sees young children embracing their dreams as they enter this ruthless competition.

She seems to remember how she felt when she finished her first sample garment.

Back then, her dream shone bright.

Bonus scene

"Senpai..."

"That's wonderful, Senpai."

"I'm so happy, Senpai."

Hearing Tsukimi Sara address him so respectfully as Senpai over and over, Myouru Akira feels a little awkward. Embarrassed, he says, "You don't have to be so formal with me, Sara. Just call me by my name."

Tsukimi Sara hesitates for a long time before speaking. "Um, Senpai, I... er, what was your name again?"

Myouru Akira: "Wait, what? So you've been calling me Senpai this whole time because you couldn't remember my name?!"

But Senpai's name really is hard to remember, TT.

*Huge congratulations on the second season of the Gold Medalist anime! 🥹 My corpse spots have even faded. Gold Medalist is so good (: Please go watch the little girls skate... Even people who don't know figure skating will fall in love with it!

*This will probably be mostly about romance... A sunny golden-retriever guy x a gloomy mushroom-type soft girl (?)

*The author knows nothing about figure skating, business, or fashion design, so please be understanding 😭🙏🏻

Premise: Honor your dreams
