[Hunter X Hunter] A Demon-Raising Guide

I used to be a powerful demon who ruled over my domain. The other demons in Hell would go out of their way to avoid me.

But I wasn't very bright, so I was Makima's dog for a very, very long time. Then she abandoned me.

After I transmigrated to another world, I swore I'd never be anyone's dog again!

As humans would say, "Konnichiwa, good friend!"

A few days later, the demon: "Wahhh, being a demon is so boring! (╥_╥)

I need to find someone to take me in and play with me! (◦`~´◦)!

I want to be a dog again! (ʃƪ ˘ ³˘)"

My new owner, whom I've never met, where are you?

[I'll leave the synopsis like this for now TAT. The actual story might not quite match the impression it gives, quq. I'll revise it if I get the chance 🤧 I can't come up with a synopsis or a one-line pitch, so I'm leaving it as is quq.]

Before you read:

1. The story is told in third person. The pairing is with Kaito. The protagonist has a certain attachment to Makima, but it's not romantic (emphasis): it's a lingering effect of being controlled (.).

2. There are no hints of any unhealthy relationships in this story. The protagonist being a dog is just a Chainsaw Man meme, quq. This is a Hunter fanfic that includes some Chainsaw Man elements. You can read it even if you haven't seen Chainsaw Man.

3. A short, sweet story written for practice.
