A Widower Shouldn't Sleep Around

-

Sheng Mingguang’s teammates have been very concerned about their captain lately, because he has fallen for a widower.

“Captain,” they pleaded with him, “you can’t sleep with a widower.”

To be fair, that widower was so beautiful that one glance could make you lose your bearings and forget the world around you. His air of melancholy and sorrow was enough to make anyone’s soul drift right out of their body. But...

The teammates pointed at the beauty tying a scarf around a child, heartsick. “He loved his late husband so much, and they even have a child!”

Sheng Mingguang gazed wistfully at his crush in the sunlight, layering on eight hundred filters of lovestruck delusion.

So gentle, so beautiful. I want him so badly.

He clenched his fist with determination. “He’s already lost his husband.”

“I can’t let him spend the rest of his life alone!”

With that, Sheng Mingguang left his teammates behind and charged determinedly toward the widower he had set his heart on.

The child watched Ji Ru tie a scarf around him and couldn’t help whispering, “Dad, Papa’s looking at you.”

Ji Ru lowered his eyes, barely moving his lips. “I can feel it.”

The child was baffled. “Why don’t you go seduce him already? I want a Papa too.”

“What are you afraid of? He just lost his memory. It’s not like he stopped loving you.”

Ji Ru smiled without warmth.

He was already working so hard to seduce him. Couldn’t the brat see that?

After killing the Old God, Ji Ru kept his promise and left the infinite space to find his beloved.

The newly born New God wanted to come along, too. Its reason was rather abstract: “I only exist because of you and your sweetheart. You’re one my dad and the other my papa, and I ship you two.”

Ji Ru: “...Sure, I guess.”

It was quite something to call your enemy your parent at such a young age.
