Can a Madman Really Become Mayor of Yokohama?

-

Yokohama, the legendary city.

Walk down the street and watch the black gangsters exchange fire, bullets flying everywhere. Turn on the news and find a crazed sorcerer working with the mayor and coming to visit. What a thriving paradise, teeming with biodiversity.

Speaking of the mayor.

The mayor is a good man, a good man who doesn't fit in with Yokohama at all. Under his leadership, Yokohama's GDP triples every year, its finances are transparent, and there's never any corruption.

His private life does seem a little complicated, though.

He's never been married, but he and the notorious leader of the Port Mafia are raising several children together, and every day feels like their honeymoon.

He's never been in a relationship, but the famous white-haired sorcerer from the jujutsu world, a crazed sorcerer, often visits Yokohama to meet with him in secret and engage in thrilling, unmentionable activities.

He claims he never drinks, but the liquor syndicate keeps showing up to ask what kind of liquor he wants this month. That liquor syndicate is just so eager to get ahead.

At a press conference, Mayor Tsurumi Rin smiles faintly and says with confidence, "None of that is a rumor."

Then he adds, "I plan to introduce a system of monogamy. I hope you'll support me."

Osamu Dazai and Satoru Gojo, seated on either side of Tsurumi Rin, can only manage strained smiles.

What can they do? They can't argue with a lunatic. All they can do is forgive him.
