The Quiet Evening Mountains

As technology and the supernatural blur together, and reality and virtuality weave into a single web, a hidden war across dimensions quietly begins.

Han Chen, an elite officer with the Special Investigation Bureau and a keen intuition, discovers that the world around him is quietly splitting apart at the seams. Pale gray marks appear out of nowhere on the office walls. An hourglass card mysteriously shows up on the desk of psychologist He Kaixin. And the monsters and stares in the holographic game Creation seem far too “real.” As the investigation deepens, a top-secret plan sealed away for decades, Prism, comes to light. It reveals that the two are heirs to an ancient “Pact Mark,” bearing the key to connecting reality with the mysterious “Void Realm.”

In an era where Sentinel-Guide dynamics and the ABO gender system coexist, and human potential continues to evolve, Han Chen and He Kaixin are forced into a vortex beyond their understanding. Han Chen's Sentinel abilities begin to undergo an uncontrollable “second evolution,” bringing him to the edge of the laws of time. He Kaixin's dormant power of purification awakens between the game and reality, making him essential to the fight against the Void Realm's corruption. They discover that Creation is not merely a training ground, but also a hunting ground where the Entropy Shadow organization hunts for the energy of the Pact Mark. As a dark red vortex in the Void Realm tears through the game's sky and spatial anomalies emerge in the real world one after another, the two must rely on the help of friends and companions to protect a balance that is on the brink of collapse, fighting on two fronts at once.

This is a struggle over the origins of evolution, dominion over time, and the survival of dimensions. The walls of reality are growing thin, and they stand at the very center of the storm.
