A New Beginning After the Apocalypse

When order collapses and chaos returns, the apocalypse quietly descends upon the city. Zhang Yuan, a second-year student at St. John's Academy, and his cousin He Luo encounter terrifying creatures known as Aberrants on their way to school. At the same time, the mysterious Sentinel Lin Feng, the academy's chairman Zhu Yuxian, Meila, a technical consultant at the Music Factory, and Bai Yongxi, the most powerful Guide, appear one after another, together revealing a cruel truth: the Chaos Tide, sealed away fifty years ago, is returning, and its roots lie in humanity's four oldest bloodline legacies.

Zhang Yuan and Lin Feng awaken unexpectedly, as the long-lost Listener and Wind Speaker, respectively. But the fluctuations of their bloodline resonance also draw in the most dangerous enemy: Bai Yongye, a former Guardian corrupted by chaos, known as the Ghost Mask. To stop chaos from devouring the world entirely, and simply to survive, Zhang Yuan, Lin Feng, and He Luo, who has just awakened his potential as a Guardian, must complete their bloodline's final resonance among the ruins of the academy under the protection of experienced Sentinels and Guides, and strengthen the seal that is on the verge of collapse. This is a battle for the survival of their species, and a song of new life in the apocalypse, played amid ruins of despair.
