My Online Class Got Sent to Ancient Times

When the skies of ancient China become a live-streamed online classroom...

Ying Zheng slammed the table at the sight of On the Qin Dynasty: "Outrageous! How dare some reckless scholar pass judgment on my Great Qin!"

Li Shimin took notes with great interest. "Learning from history as if it were a mirror? Well said! Record this post-lesson commentary on the Reign of Zhenguan for me at once!"

Zhao Kuangyin fell into deep thought as he read about the banquet where he relieved his generals of command: How could historians of later generations know what I was thinking?

Zhu Yuanzhang, meanwhile, flew into a rage. "The Yongle Encyclopedia? You rebellious brat, Fourth! How dare you overstep your station!"

On the other side of the screen, the teacher tapped the blackboard. "Class, today we'll analyze Ode to the Epang Palace and discuss the lessons of the Qin dynasty's fall..."

The emperors of ages past were furious, curious, or secretly uneasy. This massive online open class spanning the ages began in uproarious laughter, with the greeting, "Hello, teacher!"
